He changed a lot over the years and looks much different than he used to in his aged appearance. Perhaps it is due to the fact the body he’s in wasn’t a rat for the better part of 12 years, well actually all of those 12 years as a rat. In fact, Peter doesn’t transform but once a month, for his friend Remus Lupin. Otherwise, he only uses his animagus powers to get into places that he could not otherwise get into, such as a room his friends wanted to set a prank up in. Anyways, let’s get back to how he looks in the present now after his de-aging. Peter has always looked mousy faced, with a long-ish nose, and a narrow like face, with his teeth not being the best in line, but they are better than they were in his future body, fortunately. Peter’s hair is a light brown, which is very thin and always seeming to take up more space than it actually does. His hair is naturally frizzy, which he has given up on trying to make it look not frizzy. It is actually fairly ironic that when he stopped to care about the frizz in his hair, it didn’t seem as frizzy, while still being frizzy. He cares for it, brushes it, cleans it, and everything like that, but it was too much work to make it look straight. Peter’s eyes are a bright brown always curious about things, but also confused a good amount of the time. People have said that his brown eyes always seemed to display his wonder in everything, despite him not getting everything as easily as others seem to. Over his years at Hogwarts, he has been teased about his weight, being larger than others, but he isn’t that much larger than others, despite his terribly unhealthy eating habits. In fact, he sneaks into the kitchens often to get sweets, and if one sees him at night, he usually has a good armful of sweets. and then a little about yourself likes: Sweets, the Marauders, Watching Quidditch, Learning, Girls dislikes: Teasing, People being Mean to Him, Not Understanding, Vegetables, Slytherins, People the other Marauders Hate strengths: Strives to Better Himself, Really Tries at Everything, Extremely Friendly, Forgiving, His Vitality weaknesses: Little Bravery, Shy, Doesn’t Stand up for Himself, Low Self-Esteem, Perfectionist, Unhealthy boggart: His friends rejecting him and shunning him, making fun of him, and hating him erised: To be the cool guy for once, like James and Sirius, even Remus, he feels is much cooler than he is. overall personality: Peter is a highly misunderstood young man. He is not the most magically adept young man, his parents nearly thinking he was a squib, but he can do magic. Peter is a very hard worker, and will do anything to achieve the ends he wants to, even if it takes a long time to do so. But at the same time, Peter curses his not as quick uptake, demanding perfection from himself, despite his not so genius IQ. Peter tries so hard to make it so it doesn’t seem that he is not as smart as the other kids, but even the professors would admit that he was behind in their classes. If it weren’t for the Marauders, he believes he would be the most hated person in the school. In fact, he did try so very hard to become an animagus, he lost sleep, perfecting the technique last year. He was always frustrated that James and Sirius seemed to progress faster than he did, and so, he had them help him as much as they could, and he spent nights awake working on it, just to reach the same level they had with much less effort than he did. Peter is a very shy person who relies on his friends for protection. He loves his friends very much, and appreciates how they took him in, despite the many things to tease him about, but he depends on them. He feels weak, and he won’t stand up for himself, letting his friends do that for him. After 5 years of his friends automatically doing so without Peter even asking, letting them take care of others being mean to him has become an impulse. Other than around the Marauders, Peter is an extremely shy young boy, scared of what others would think of him. He knows that people would make fun of him if he wasn’t friends with the coolest guys in their year, and so he is very self-conscious and knows that there is rarely anyone outside the Marauders, who think he’s, in any sort of the word, cool. Due to this feeling that there aren’t very many people who would like him if he weren’t the lucky one who was friends with Sirius, James and Remus, he has a very low self-esteem. He does not think highly of himself, but yet, he doesn’t really do anything to change himself, because his friends seem to like him how he was, and they didn’t seem to complain when they see him stuffing his face with sweets from the kitchen. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as some seem to say. Due to his low self-esteem, he looks for ways to make him happier with himself. That is partly why he eats so much, because it makes him happier when he eats the unhealthy, even if it creates part of the problem he has low self-esteem. Peter has always wanted to be the cool one, the one all the girls drool over and always want, with the guys jealous of them, but he never has been. He wants people he can care for, those who think he’s cool for who he is, and while the Marauders are great, they seem to treat him a little differently than they do the others in the group, and it hasn’t escaped his notice. They are great friends, truly, but they don’t seem to think of him as brotherly as they do between each other. This could just be his perspective viewing the three gods to him, two loud cool, and one the quiet loner type girls seem to like. But around the Marauders, Peter is always excited, he loves the attention, loves being around his friends. He seems to become another person, always praising his friends for their greatness, and trying to make them seem so important in his eyes, so they would keep him around. If he really wants to, he can make any situation seem lighter, despite his failure at saying the right thing. It seems that his awkwardness does seem to change the tone of where ever he is, to a light humor atmosphere, if he doesn’t watch his words carefully. He observes things in a different way than others, making a connection no one else seems to understand or get sometimes, simply, in one word, awkward. history your family and such parents: Timothy Pettigrew (81, Deceased), Isabel Pettigrew (77, Deaceased) siblings: none pets: None, anymore; he once had a large barn owl he loved very much named Owly, but he died a few years ago. born: London, England, St. Mungo’s Hospital overall history: As a young child, Peter wasn’t given very much attention by his parents. There were complications in his birth, which resulted in his father having to choose between Peter and Isabel. His father chose Isabel, thinking that way they could have another kid if they wanted one. Peter was a mistake, according to his parents, and they never really actually wanted children. However, the healers at St. Mungo’s were able to revive Peter, which was a miracle and curse in disguise. His parents did not show him very much attention. Peter grew up in the household which did not want him. They told him they loved him dearly, and in the beginning, Peter believed them. Well, until his father told Peter of Peter’s origins and how they nearly lost him, accidently letting it slip that Peter was a mistake. In the way that only Peter seems to think, he’s always held that as the fact his parents hated him, and just pretended to love him, even though they really did love him very much. His mother was always at the ministry doing paperwork, staying late nights, and his dad was an avid writer for the Daily Prophet, who would tell Peter not to disturb him while he was writing, which happened a lot of the time. They just didn’t have time for Peter, even though they loved him very much. Peter went to a muggle school when he was a child, being the person who always was picked on, with little to no friends. In fact, he had no friends at the muggle school, and his parents didn’t have time to hear him tell about school and those who bullied him so they could take him out. Peter was always interested in learning, because in class was the time in which people couldn’t pick on him as much, which lead to his eventual avid want to learn, even when it separated from the freedom of feeling so self-conscious and terrible about himself. It was around age 9 that he began eating so profusely, while at age 10, he finally showed signs of magic, when a bully was picking on the young boy and the bully somehow ended up disappearing and reappearing with his head in a toilet not long afterwards. The principal could not explain what happened, and Peter got off scot-free, besides a call to his parents about the incident. After that, Peter was pulled from the muggle school, and was instructed on how to teach himself, and tests and questions could be answered when one of his parents were free. Peter had stayed up every night to wait for his mother to ask questions about his reading, to which the two would stay up for a good couple of hours, and discuss it. Peter actually felt loved then, but had to leave, when he received his letter for Hogwarts. He was ecstatic, and his parents were too. However, Peter began thinking that Hogwarts could turn out just like the muggle school had, where he was friendless. Peter had a plan, however. Peter was on the platform, and he was looking around the best he could for who would be his target friend. It was when a loud ‘POP’ came from one of the suitcases loaded up on the train, and a black haired boy laughing as those by the luggage jumped at the loud sound, that he knew that he would make that boy like him. Peter approached the boy, and greeted him, and that was when he met James Potter. Peter did his best, riding with him in his compartment where he met Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Peter told jokes, which just became awkward jokes that the three didn’t get, but it turned out that by the end of the ride, they actually liked him. They actually liked the awkward Peter Pettigrew. Peter was sorted into Gryffindor, tripping on his way up to the hat. The hat had said nothing aloud, talking with Peter about how he had great potential for great bravery, if he chose the right company. Peter agreed, saying that he had found the friends he would have, and he walked off to the Gryffindor table, nearly forgetting to take off the hat, but he remembered at the last second. That first year was the most fun year of his life. His friends loved him, and his awkwardness, though he did feel like the outlier of the group, though at least that year, Remus was very distant with his constant sick relatives. Peter had recorded them from the beginning of year, because Remus was special, because they were friends, and he wanted to remember when he didn’t see one of his friends, so he could make up for that day at some point later. It wasn’t until their second year that someone noted that all the marked dates, which he marked with an ‘R’ for Remus (J for James, and S was for Sirius), were all on the full moon. Peter was very curious after that, the person who pointed it out, not knowing it was the code for when his friends were absent. Peter told James and Sirius about this, and then they began suspecting something, but they didn’t tell Peter anything. At the end of their second year, James and Sirius confronted Remus, with only Peter present besides the aforementioned kids, where Remus confessed about his lycanthropy. Peter was at first scared, but then he reasoned that Remus was part of the group who liked him. It didn’t matter if he turned into a wolf each month or so, right? Their third year was full of shenanigans, and Peter was far behind others in classes, going to tutorials all the times with the professors who allowed it, and spent the rest of his time tagging along with his friends, trying to make them stay liking him, and not think he was just stupid and shove him out of their group. It was also the year that Sirius came up with the idea to become animagi, and the three began working towards becoming animagi themselves. Peter had the most trouble, though the three did not show results until the beginning of their fourth year when James’s nose elongated almost like a horse, and Sirius’s hands and feet grew pads, but Peter didn’t show any progress. Determined, he had little sleep his whole fourth year, and by the beginning of his fifth year, he had grown a pink tail. The four had come up with their nicknames on the first thing that they managed to change, while Remus was named after what caused him to change. Peter, James, and Sirius managed to perfect their transformations that year, around the same time, though Peter had a lot more trouble with it. As soon as they finished that, James came up with an idea for another highly magical plan to create a magical map of Hogwarts. Overwhelmed by the amount of magic his friends were needing of him, Peter nearly broke, but due to the fact Peter was able to sneak to the kitchens undetected, where he was supplied with coffee and sugar, he made it through his fifth year with all the demands his friends needed him to fulfill, or that he felt he needed to fulfill to be a good friend to them. However, over that summer, Peter found himself at the Ministry where people were saying he was far in the future where he had died from Sirius betraying them. Peter didn’t believe that Sirius would do a thing, but they kept insisting, and telling him James was dead, and that Remus was a known werewolf. Sure he knew he was a werewolf, but everyone knew now? They tried so hard to keep it a secret! After all the talking the Ministry folk did with him, he finally does believe he is in the future, despite a lingering hint of doubt. now for the person behind the character alias: Remy age: 17 experience: 3 years? I think… where'd you find us?: PB Support! anything to add?: Peter is such a cutie, but I do feel kinda bad for him… lastly the roleplay sample View the application belonging to Severus Snape, and that is the sort of post I would do, because you all know me already pretty well as I do play Snape and he’s pretty awesome, because Snily is very amazing, and I can’t wait for Harry to find out about those two getting along so well together, despite Snape seeming to hate Harry, but love his mom.
