[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 600px; border-left: 10px solid #c0b0a1;] Welcome to your site young blood WILLIAM ARTHUR WEASLEY [/style] [style=font-family:times; font-size:10; letter-spacing: 6px; line-height: 2px color:#c0b0a1; text-transform:uppercase; font-style: italic; ] you're a wizard, harry nicknames: Bill, Billy, Ginger date of birth: 29th November 1970 age: 24 gender: male sexual orientation: straight occupation: curse breaker at Gringotts bloodstatus: pureblood financial status: stable year: adult house: former Gryffindor wand: 11" elder wood with unicorn hair core, firm with some flex to it allegiance: Order canon: yes Tell Us a little about how you look height: 6'2 weight: 178 lbs hair: red eyes: brown distinguishing features: long red hair, clothes intended face claim: Domhnall Gleeson overall: Bill is the quintessential Weasley: tall, lanky, and red haired. He's quite proud of that fact too. So proud that he loves to wear his hair long. He's the kind of guy that most people would expect to be in a rock band form the way he dresses. He has a favorite pair of dragon hide boots that Fred and George won't even touch. He does actually have one ear pierced and will sometimes wear the one earring he owns: a dangling fang (a gift from Ginny actually). He's usually wearing a bright smile on his face. If he's not, it's probably bad. Despite his rocker like appearance, Bill's clothes actually serve to be both practical and comfortable. Since his work isn't the easiest of things, he likes to make sure that he has clothes he can move in and not get caught up in which is why he tends to avoid wearing robes. and then a little about yourself likes: puzzles, laughing, blondes, intellectual debates, flying dislikes: purists, liver, cats, conformists, boredom strengths: sense of adventure, bravery, arithmancy, dueling, sense of humor weaknesses: family, opinionated, proud, temper, potions boggart: Ginny dead/dying erised: a family and a house much like the burrow overall personality: Bill is actually a pretty laid back guy. When you hear stories about him, a lot of people think that he might just be an older version of Percy with his brains and sense of responsibility. He's not. Bill is more like the prefect blending of Fred and George and Percy. Though in all honesty he tends to lean more towards the former than the latter. He is a guy who likes to take time to enjoy the little things in life, though he's usually too busy having fun at his job. And to him, his job is fun. He loves the challenge of breaking curses and working with the goblin bankers. He is a man who believes in family loyalty and tolerance which is why he doesn't understand or agree with the purists at all. Of course with that family loyalty comes a bit of pride. He can be every bit as proud as a purist. Despite that pride, he will usually brush off any insults thrown at him. It's when his family is insulted that he usually starts having issues. His tempter tends to be a slow one, building until he snaps though that doesn't happen often. He much prefers to resolve things with words if he can. Though, if he can't, he's always open to other ways of handling the situation. Sometimes it happens to be pranks, usually helped along by Fred, George and a few others, or it will be a fight. He can handle himself in a battle both with magic and with fists. He would never admit it, but he is more protective of his baby sister than anyone else in the family. It isn't that he loves her more, but rather that he never quite got over the shock of what happened to her after her first year at Hogwarts. Bill hates the thought of anything happening to his sister again, or any of his family for that matter, but she tends to be the one who comes to mind first mostly because he doesn't know about most of the things that Ron has done as well. history your family and such parents: Arthur Weasley [anachronism] & Molly Prewett (Weasley) [anachronism] siblings: Charlie (22/dragonologist), Percy (18/MoM), Fred & George (17/Seventh year), Ron (15/fifth year), Ginny (14, fourth year) pets: none (no time) born: The Burrow overall history: Bill was the first child born to Arthur and Molly Weasley. The oldest of seven, Bill always thought that he was a lucky number (even if the youngest did turn out to be a girl instead of a boy). He grew up happily tormenting his younger brothers and having them torment him in return as they got older. Well, except for Percy. He always thought Percy was a little odd, but it never stopped him from trying to include his younger brother, or to get his other brothers to stop teasing Percy when he felt that it was too much for the other boy. Bill was ten years old when the war came to an end and he still remembers hearing about the horror of the baby boy whose family was killed and who lived. He couldn't help but think of his own little brother who was around the same age and what would happen if that were to ever happen to Ron. It is probably one of the reasons he is so protective of his siblings. He was thrilled to start at Hogwarts and immediately took to his schooling, following the family tradition of being sorted into Gryffindor. He actually loved to study, something that the twins tormented him about. Not that he ever minded very much. He simply would find something to torment them about right back. Going into his third year, Bill set a rather large precedent by taking Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Arithmancy and Study of Ancient Runes which meant he was also using a time turner. (His family still isn't sure when he actually slept during these last years of school.) He loved the challenge of so many classes and of the studies themselves though potions continued to give him difficulty. It was a subject that he had to push himself very hard at to get right. Half the time he was fairly certain he was just making things up as he went along. Not that he ever really cared. As long as he passed the class, he was usually happy. During his fifth year he was made a prefect on top of his already outstanding workload. Again, no one is quite sure how he managed it, but he ended the year with twelve O.W.L.'s, something his parents were thrilled about. Bill would have been lying if he hadn't said he was pleased himself. When it came time to ask what he wanted to do with his life, Bill actually knew exactly what he wanted. He had taken a fancy to Arithmancy above most of his classes aside from Defense Against the Dark Arts. He figured the best way to combine the two would be to work as a Curse Breaker for Gringotts. And considering his school career, he had an excellent record to commend himself even becoming Head Boy in his seven year. After graduating, Bill did take a position with Gringotts, but it was not the one in London. He actually moved down to Egypt for a time and was working there continuing to learn as he worked. He would sometimes take time off to hop up and visit his family, but he could only go so often. He bought himself a new wand shortly before his brother, Ron, started at Hogwarts and donated the wand to the young boy knowing that his parents would never accept a new one. The whole family came down to visit him during the summer of 1993 much to his delight. He took as much time off as he could showing them around and spending time with them while he had them. The next year, he came up to visit and to watch the Quidditch World Cup with his family. When the attack came from the Death Eaters, Bill quickly (and honestly without thinking) jumped into the fray. He recieved only a minor injury but it was enough to drive his mother crazy. He played it off as best as he could, but he also knew when to back down too. That year, he decided to take the time to escort his siblings and their friends to King's Cross Station which gave him time to get to know Harry and Hermione a little better. Bill did it in part because he was curious about the boy that he had heard about when he was ten years old. He has recently returned to England for an extended stay, transferring from the Egypt branch up to the London one, due to the whole affair with the TriWizard Tournament where he gladly cheered for, and worried about, Harry Potter. He has also recently become acquainted with one of the other contestants Fleur Delacour, who is a blonde much to his great appreciation. He will neither confirm nor deny rumors that he might be now for the person behind the character alias: Cho age: 23 experience: sporadically for 4 years where'd you find us?: ad on Kingdom Come anything to add?: not at the moment lastly the roleplay sample Iasa finished her last class of the day and found that she could no longer avoid what she had agreed to the night before. It had been a ridiculous idea really, but it wasn't something she could back out of now. She was wishing she could though. The last thing that she wanted to do was to practice Defense Against the Dark Arts. If she hated anything, it would probably be that class. But she didn't hate it, it simply horrified her. She could understand the theory behind all of it and she was brilliant with such theories. But she was horrified of what could happen if she actually did the spells. It was silly, of course. A part of her knew that. And a part of her also knew that logically she did have to actually work on those spells and know that she could use them. Her family had told her that many times. And she had agreed with them. Now she actually had to do it. The young woman tried not to flinch at that thought. She had to be reasonable about this. She had to be rational. She wasn't a child anymore. She had to face her responsibilities whether she liked it or not. Besides, there was always the chance that if she practiced and had the skills down that she would never have to actually use those skills. The thought had her smiling and feeling a little more relaxed about the whole situation. She pulled her bag over her shoulder and began to make her way up to the old Charms classroom where she was supposed to meet Gideon Prewett for her "lesson". If you wanted to call it a lesson. She supposed it was a practice in theory. Either way she wasn't really sure how she felt about doing there. She was a little better now that she had her little theory running around her head. She moved up the stairs in a little pattern. She was usually pretty good at knowing which staircases to choose. She knew that most people hated the stairs but she rather liked the rotating staircase at Hogwarts. She found it fascinating. And she enjoyed trying to see if she could make it up the way that she wanted to without the stairs changing in a way that she didn't want them to. She usually had a fifty/fifty shot honestly which kept the game exciting. The game also distracted her from what she was actually going up to because, even thought that though had made her feel a little better, it hadn't made her feel that much better about the whole situation. She doubted anything could do that unless someone told her that she would never have to fight. The girl shook her head as she moved into the classroom and set her bag down near the door. She moved to the center of the room and clasped her hands behind her back before she actually began to slowly turn and take everything in. It seemed a rather sad room with no students in it. She couldn't help but wonder, a little absently, why they had even changed rooms at all. She would have to look into that. It made her very curious. Then again, there were a lot of things that made her curious. She loved to learned. Her family and friends had simply come to accept it as a fact of who she was.
