Post by PETER MICHAEL PETTIGREW on Feb 2, 2013 1:53:45 GMT -5
Peter&&Lily Lily does have her work cut out for her; it's just like the explanation Sev will give to Harry when Harry tries to kill Peter, he isn't the same person who betrayed his parents, he's different now, and in different circumstances will make different choices. Pretty much like that; Peter will probably apologize when he gets out of denial (and then get out of Africa ), and tell her he promises he won't ever do that... well again. Peter isn't a bad guy and without the thought of Iasa being killed by the Order, because he is semi-gullible, he may not have betrayed them.

SIRIUS && LILYAH!!! This shall be fun! Sirius is probably on her annoying guy list, and he doesn't seem to care about it. However, Sirius does respect Lily, and doesn't go too much overboard with the flirting thing with her, because of James being all in love with her and stuff (even if he's not alive now), and he'll just be his pranking toeraggy self, whom she originally got along with, eventually. He's much more immature right now than James was at the time, and loves a good laugh, and doesn't know when things are too far, so she would probably get onto him a lot about his excessive pranks (just think of him teaming up with the Weasley Twins against Umbridge :O), probably mean comments sent his way, and him taking them and while not completely nice back, he does like to joke around and make her mad either way. He did almost kill Severus not long ago for these two.

Lily&&Sirius It is true, out of all the Marauders Sirius was her least favorite, but that's sort of like trying to rank things on a list you do like, and one of those being lower on the list. Yes, he is immature. Yes, she will be on his arse constantly, but she still adores the dolt and will want him around more than she ever would have before. She might go to him to ask about James, because she's trying to sort this whole "I married him and I don't know why" thing out. Sirius being James' best friend, she feels, will help her get some insight. She will love to learn the bastard, probably even view him as a brother, and want to protect him. <3

SIRIUS&&LILYAWWW, she likes him somewhat? LOL, and he'll probably be able to offer some incite on how in the world James managed to get her to marry him and have a kid with him, though, he still doesn't believe it, he will once he sees Snape, or once we get a Remus, him, and it'll be funny his reaction to Harry as well, but anyways... Back to these two, he'll eventually see her like a sister himself, even if she doesn't marry his best (dead) mate, though he will still hate Snape, because that won't just go away over night, he'll probably still hate him Snape for awhile, even if Lily tries to make him stop hating him, because really, he just hates Snape too much (though when he finds out Snapey-poo is Order, he'll probably start to not hate him eventually, so she would have to keep them civil around each other.

Alice&Lily
I think that at the very least, these two would be friends, considering that they're in the same year, both loyal to the Order, both Gryffindors, and both anachronisms. Plus they're both pretty similar in the fact that they have tempers, and they will do anything to help others in need. What do you think? I'm pretty much open to anything.

Lily&&Alice Lily needs all the friends she can get, especially ones that understand her situation as well as Alice does. It goes deeper than just the Gryffindor, anachronism and similar personalities. Alice has to deal with the fact that she has a son she never knew could have existed, and will be going through the same motions that Lily has to when she's finally confronted with meeting Harry. I think that Alice would be a wonderful confidant in that respect, because no one else will know what it's like to be thrust into a new world and find out that you were not only incapacitated (or in Lily's case, dead) and left a child behind. Maybe they can bolster each other while they try to figure out how to deal with the situation, see if they can encourage maternal feelings in one another. After they've learned how to love their sons, I'm sure that they'll have a connection with one another that no one will really understand.
I sense a relationship deeper than just a surface friendship, if you want me to be perfectly honest.

Alice&LilyIn short: I completely agree. Sorry, I was extremely tired when I was typing that up and didn't feel much like elaborating. XD But yes, they would definitely be close confidants because they have something in common that no one else does, except perhaps Narcissa: children. However, unlike Narcissa, neither of them have husbands who will be able to help them. Alice would most likely try to help Lily with her maternal feelings; probably even more so than trying to help herself. And of course, Lily seems like the one who would return the favor. One question, though: what do you mean by, "Alice has to deal with the fact that she has a son she never knew could have existed"?

Simply because Alice and Lily didn't know they'd end up marrying the men they did and having children with them, which was the sense I got from reading Alice's bio. If I'm off mark then, please, forgive me. xD I misread, but either way they're both mothers, with or without my dramatic hyperbole, and they'll probably end up needing each other.

Oh, no, you're perfectly right. Seems like my brain decided to take a vacation today! No, Alice liked Frank as a friend, but she never thought that she would end up marrying him, having a child, and then being tortured. Both of them have been through a lot lately in their debriefing, and yes, I do think that they'll need each other.
By the way, I didn't think your hyperbole was dramatic at all, although that seems to be a bit of an oxymoron. xD
Would you like to start the thread or shall I?

You may, if you'd like. My muse is being finicky as of late, so I hope that you can be patient with me as I struggle through to rouse enough enthusiasm to writer proper posts. xD Any time you'd like them to interact, just drop me a thread somewhere and I will endeavor to reply. <3
